Hi Everyone! I am Honey. I am writing this week's report because Mr Houdini (Mama and I call him Houdi) is not feeling well. Please see below :-)
I am very excited to tell you about my new friend, Tane. I have a picture of him, but I want to tell you about him first. He lives in...wait for it...FINLAND!!! I'm not sure where that is but Mama says it's further away than St Louis, so I know it's really far. Okay, here he is:
How am I so lucky to have a new handsome friend from far away? He made a comment on this blog! He did! You can scroll down and see. Go ahead, I feel that you do not believe me; I will wait. See? Told you so! Didn't it make you laugh? Mama says that "bossy woman" has a name and it is Liisa. Yes, it has TWO i's in it (just like me, except mine are eyes...but I have two, which is important so I can watch the squirrels that taunt me day and night)! Anyway, Tane wonders how it is possible that Mr Houdini is in charge of me and Mama. Tane, it's okay, really, because he is only in charge in The Studio, and there are lots of other places to be in our house. I have discovered and (sometimes) use them to, as Mama says, find a little peace. That is not what Houdi calls it. Ha ha!
I hope to hear from Tane again. Mama says he can be my "paw pal" which she finds funny, so it must be even if it doesn't seem funny to me. If anyone else wants to write, I will read those notes, too.

ReplyDeletebossy woman tells me that you are very far away as well. she says you're in the same country as my buddy buster. yes, the same buster that bossy woman and pops go and see every so often. and leave me here. well, i don't like car trips so i imagine i wouldn't like air planes either.
i can tell you the summer is very nice this year, it's not been at all hot. it's raining a lot, i don't like rain, but i don't like heat at all. bossy woman says tomatoes would grow better with some more heat, but who cares about tomatoes, i don't and i think you might not either.
i need to tell you that although it's very light all day and night in the summer, it's very dark in the winter. it's so dark that sometimes they keep lights on all day. i like winter because then i can dig a hole in the snow and sleep there. it's very cosy. well, with darkness i sometimes have to bark just because. you never know what hides in the darkness.
i'm glad that we are paw pals. nothing much has been happening here either. bossy woman keeps leaving in the morning and coming back in the evening, then she's all tired. they say she goes to work. i know what work is, it's barking at intruding animals and people. i don't know why bossy woman needs to go anywhere for that. oh, something did happen, there was a new grey cat in the yard the other morning.
